Privacy Policy
How this website handles information about visitors. Last updated October 2026.
Who we are
This website, drnicholashaddock.com, is the website of Nicholas T. Haddock, MD. This policy explains what information the website collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It covers this website only.
Information you choose to send us
If you use the Request a Consultation form, you give us your name, date of birth, phone number, email address, insurance, and a short description of why you would like to be seen. We use this only to contact you about scheduling a consultation.
The form is sent over an encrypted connection to Dr. Haddock’s office and is not stored on this website.
Please do not use the form for urgent medical concerns or to send medical records. For urgent concerns call (214) 645-2353; for emergencies call 911.
Information collected automatically
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it — for example, which pages are viewed, how long a visit lasts, the type of device and browser, and the general area (city or region) a visit comes from. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. We look at this information in summary form to improve the website; we do not use it to identify you.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Like most websites, our web host also keeps standard server records (such as IP address, date and time, and the page requested) to keep the site secure and running.
Content from other services
Some pages show content provided by other companies, which may receive your IP address or set their own cookies when the page loads or when you play or click it: fonts from Google Fonts; videos from YouTube (shown in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode) and Vimeo; and one older news post that shows an embedded Facebook post.
Product links on the Recovery Essentials page go to Amazon. Amazon may set cookies if you click them, and Dr. Haddock may earn from qualifying purchases.
Links to social media, MyChart and other websites take you to sites that have their own privacy policies.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not use information from the contact form for advertising. This website is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your medical information
If you become a patient, the medical information about your care is protected by federal law (HIPAA) and is described in the Notice of Privacy Practices you receive at your first appointment. This policy covers only this website.
“Do Not Track”
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common standard for responding to it, and this website does not currently change how it works when it receives one.
Changes and questions
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. If you have a question about this policy or about information you sent through the website, call the office at (214) 645-3118 or use the Contact page.
