Somewhere to put the question
Breast cancer and reconstruction are overwhelming. Most of the questions arrive between appointments.
Going through breast cancer and reconstruction is overwhelming, and the questions rarely arrive at a convenient moment. Most of them come up between appointments, at home, at night, after something has been read or overheard.
So there is more than one way to ask. In-person visits, telehealth visits, written information on this site, and the patient portal, where a question can be sent and answered without waiting for the next appointment.
The purpose is not to replace the conversation in clinic. It is to make sure nothing has to be carried around unanswered until then.
