Three talks at the NESPS Spring Workshop
“Crafting the Ideal Breast: Where Aesthetics and Reconstruction Converge.”
Dr. Haddock was invited as guest speaker for the NESPS Spring Workshop, titled Crafting the Ideal Breast: Where Aesthetics and Reconstruction Converge, giving three talks on breast reconstruction.
The title is the interesting part. Reconstruction and aesthetic surgery are often taught as separate disciplines; in breast reconstruction they are the same problem. A reconstruction that is technically successful but does not look right has not finished the job.
