Teaching at the Duke Flap Course
Lumbar artery perforator and DIEP flap technique, taught to reconstructive microsurgeons from around the country.

Dr. Haddock returned to Duke for the 2026 Flap Course, teaching lumbar artery perforator (LAP) and DIEP flap technique alongside reconstructive microsurgeons from around the country and abroad.
Courses like this are how the specialty moves forward — walking through anatomy, dissection and real cases with faculty and residents, then comparing what is working in each practice.
