Enhanced Recovery Pathway

Dr. Haddock and his team use an enhanced recovery pathway when performing breast reconstruction with DIEP flaps or PAP flaps. This involves a number of maneuvers that help limit the need for narcotics and ultimately make the patient experience better. We recently added a long acting local anesthetic block (TAP block) that is performed at the end of the surgery.
